The 1940's Experiment – losing 100 lb on wartime rations

Kind of a neat site. She is using war time recipes to help lose weight.
The blog is by Carolyn Ekins and she has been losing weight using a 1940’s ration book recipes and says that by eating these recipes that are healthy and very frugal that in 11 months she has lost 75 pounds.

    I really like looking at this site for recipes because it is good old fashioned healthy eating.
She has more than 100 recipes like this one for rolled oat macaroons. Very interesting site.
