If you need a little more space in your garage check out this how to on adding a bump out. This is done with a treated wood foundation. Just like installing a deck, so you don’t even have to pour concrete to get the extra space for your mower, atv or motorcycle. You could even build shelves all around the sides of it to give you lots more storage for other things.

Build the shelves to allow totes to fit and you could store all kinds of things in the totes. Or make the extra space just for all of the toys, bikes and sports gear. I suppose if space inns tight in the house you might even be able to put your laundry room in it.
