Adding Ladybugs To Your Garden For Aphid Control

Adding ladybugs to your garden for aphid control. One of the best natural pest control for aphids is ladybugs. If you can get and keep ladybugs the babies will grow up on the aphid diet. They eat a lot of aphids and if there are aphids around they will come to eat them. They also eat mealy bugs, mites and scales and even pollen so they are beneficial to have in the garden. You can Make a Ladybug Feeder & Attract Them to Your Garden but if they don’t come you can try buying a bag of live ones to release into your garden.

Vegetable Gardener shares instructions for adding them to your garden in the best ways to hopefully keep them rather than having them just fly away to the neighbor’s garden. These Ladybugs are inexpensive right now so if you would like to give it a go, now would be a good time to try introducing these natural pest controllers into your garden. So there you have two different methods of adding them to your garden and hopefully being aphid free all summer.
