Bake A Sandwich Loaf With No Machine and Without Touching The Dough

Bake a sandwich loaf with no machine and without touching the dough. You bake it in a poor man’s dutch oven made from two loaf pans and 2 binder clips. The bread turns out delicious and with a crust like you get when you bake it in a dutch oven but you get the loaf shape so it is perfect for slicing to make sandwiches.

Bake A Sandwich Loaf With No Machine and Without Touching The Dough

This recipe is the easiest I have seen for making bread without a machine. All the ingredients are mixed in a bowl with the handle of a spoon and then left to rise for an hour and a half. After punching down in the same bowl with the same spoon handle it rises for another half hour in the loaf pan. Then it is baked for a little over half an hour and you have gorgeous bread all ready for slicing.

Notice there was no kneading or any touching of the dough. You make a whole loaf of bread but you never touch the dough except with the handle of the spoon. The video is from Artisan Bread With Steve and he calls this method of bread making the turbo method because it is so fast.
