This is such a multipurpose diy project that looks simple enough for almost anyone that can use a saw. The Design Confidential shares free plans to build this wooded structure that can be a bed, playhouse, lounge for outdoors or a daybed. It can be used so many ways. Its perfect for the kids to play in and the mattress can be taken off and will slide underneath to open up the whole thing so with a blanket or tarp thrown over the top the kids can have a big tent to play in without all the dining chairs. With the mattress there is a wooden area left to serve as bedside table and for out doors its perfect to lay out in the sun or again throw a cover over all or part of it for shaded lounging. It really can be used for a lot of things. My mind keeps seeing little kids in sleeping bags with a blanket over top so they can have indoor camping in their very own tent. Really a neat item. I love how they painted the wall with blackboard paint too.
