Chicken Soup Pressure Canning Recipe

This Chicken Soup Pressure Canning recipe is a great way to add variety to your food storage pantry. A hot steaming bowl of chicken soup on a cold winter afternoon is delicious. It is also the number one thing you want when you have a cold. It helps open up your sinuses and soothes a sore throat.

I love the layered look of this soup and it looks very pretty sitting on the pantry shelf. I changed the recipe up a little. I left out the green beans and added a diced jalapeno (de-seeded) and a few cilantro leaves for a little south of the boarder twist on chicken soup. We usually have it with a few tortilla chips rather than bread. Hubby adds some cayenne powder to his bowl. He likes it spicy. This is such a great thing to have on hand when you are rushed and it is getting close to dinner time. Just heat up a jar or two if you have more people and serve with bread or tortilla chips. This recipe for canning chicken soup is from Farm Girl Tails.
