The Homesteading Maven website shares how to build a mobile chicken tractor.

A mobile chicken tractor allows chickens to graze new ground daily as they fertilizer the soil with their droppings.

If chickens graze the same ground constantly, they tend overgraze the green grass pulling up the roots. By rotating the area they graze, it allows the grass to grow back so there is a food source in constant growing cycle.
