Crusty Bread Recipe

Crusty bread recipe for bread that is baked in an enameled cast iron dutch oven.  No kneading required. My favorite ended up being the cranberry orange and almond loaf. I make different ones but we love that one for weekend mornings. Toasted with real butter, it is delicious. It looks so good you can almost smell that warm yeasty aroma. Simply so good shares a recipe for a crusty bread that looks so good and yet it is so easy to make. She also gives a lot of add ins to make all sorts of savory and sweet bread using this recipe.

These were baked in Le Creuset enameled dutch ovens. I can’t really afford Le Creuset but I do have an enameled dutch oven by Lodge and it works just fine for this bread, and tough meats and any thing else you want a dutch oven for.
