How To Dehydrate Cheese In Your Dehydrator

This simple tutorial of How To Dehydrate Cheese In Your Dehydrator is a way to create a dry cheese powder for long term food storage. Dehydrated cheese can be added into soups, casseroles, breads, muffins, sprinkled over popcorn, cheese sauce poured over vegetables and pasta recipes.

If you ever get snowed in or fall on some hard times it will be nice to have your dried cheese to add to some dishes. Many menu items just don’t taste quite right witout the flavor of the cheese. While I haven’t dehydrated cheese yet I do keep a jar of Cheddar Cheese Powder in my pantry for when I want to make a cheese sauce or mac n cheese. That way I know I always have it on hand and that it won’t spoil.
