Facts About Raising A Goat In The City

These interesting facts about raising a goat in the city may inspire some urban homesteaders to take on the challenge of adding goats to their homesteading daily routine.

Here is an personal note: I moved from a city of over 1 million people which it is legal to own a goat if it named (pet) but the tiny town of less than 600 people that we moved to 3 years ago does NOT allow farm animals within the town’s limits. Best to check local laws in the town BEFORE you move to a homestead in the country so you are aware. Honestly, it never crossed my mind there would be an issue.
