French Sandwich Celia Style

Next time you need some hors d’oeuvres, try this recipe for French sandwich Celia style. It is made in a 12 x 17 baking pan.  Once it has baked you cut it into diamond shapes by cutting on the diagonal. It is filled with salami, cheese and special mustard. This is a gorgeous way to offer finger food at a walk around party.

French Sandwich Celia Style

I love every dish I have ever had that was made with puff pastry and this was no exception. I made this to try it at home before making it for a party. I cut it into squares and we had it for dinner with a salad. It is delicious. So you don’t have to save the recipe for use as an hors d’oeuvers only recipe. You could make it for a lunch or dinner and just serve it with a nice salad too.

It is easy to make once you have your puff pastry rolled out. It can take some patience to roll it out to this size. Letting it come to room temperature will help. It rolls better than when it is still cold.
