Let’s explore 7 green cleaning ingredients that can clean anything in your house for far less money and with just as much dirt/grease cutting power.

Who doesn’t a house that has floor as clean as glass? But a small minority of folks is fine with the baggage that comes with products that clean our mess. The strong stench of Phenyl, bleaching agents and detergents as well as other chemically processed cleaners make it difficult not only to breathe but also cause eye and skin irritations that lead to asthma, cancer and genetic defects. These chemicals can be ingested by children and pets by mistake too.

Therefore using all-natural products can be much safer. Nature has provided us with all the necessary ingredients to keep our homes spic and span without killing ourselves, wildlife or the environment.

These natural products included the following:

Lemon (Citrus): The key to citrus’s cleaning power is its acidity, which proves the little lemon to be a cleaning powerhouse. The peels of citrus fruit (grapefruit, oranges, lemons, limes, and the rest) contain limonene, the active ingredient of citrus oil, which is especially effective as a degreaser.

Borax: Sodium borate is better known as a laundry booster than it is a compound of boron which works as a laundry booster.

White Vinegar: The finest of natural, eco-friendly cleaners, vinegar is, by definition, a water-based solution containing about 5% acetic acid (a powerful solvent). It functions disinfect and deodorize cutting boards, remove mineral deposits from showerheads and deodorize dishwashers. It also softens clothes and reduces static.

Baking Soda: The superfine grit of this powdery white substance, better known as sodium bicarbonate which cleans combs and hair-brushes. It also helps to clean ovens, remove crayon marks and fight household odors.

Castile soap: Castile soap is fruitarian and all-around Earth friendly and is used as a window Cleaner, laundry detergent and do it yourself baby wipes.

Salt: Salt is one of the major element for cleaning. The cleaning functions that come under the umbrella of salt include bleach perspiration stains, remove water stains from wood, clean cast-iron cookware and clean copper, pewter, and solid brass.

Essential Oils: In the world of do it yourself cleaners, essential oils are the icing on the environment friendly cake. They are used in toilet bowl cleaner, air fresheners, stovetop cleaner and vacuum freshener
