How To Grind Your Own Meat Into Hamburger

Here are some tips and tricks for how to grind your own meat into hamburger because the taste is far superior to commercial burger and you will know exactly quality. You can use store bought meat, buy half a cow or use meat you have grown and butchered yourself.

It is helpful to remove any gristle, silver skin or large amounts of fat. When you grind it yourself, you know that no added fillers have been blended into the burger. It is also much easier to grind meat that is partially frozen. Juct cut your meat into cubes that will fit into the grinder and then lay them on a cookie sheet in the freezer for 15 minutes or so. They will pass through the grinder really easy that way.  You can grind any type of meat not just beef. You can also add a customized spice blend if you choose.
