Homemade Buffalo Chicken Wings Seasoning Mason Jar Mix

This homemade buffalo chicken wings seasoning mason jar mix recipe is a frugal way to create your own bulk seasonings for a fraction of the cost without losing any deliciousness.

All of these wonderfully blended spices fit perfectly into a pint size wide mouth mason jar with empty head space so you can shake before using. Add a couple filled pint size mason jars of this to your food pantry so you always have it ready when you need it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Chili Powder

  • 6 Tablespoons Black Pepper

  • 8 Tablespoons Cayenne Pepper

  • 4  Teaspoons Paprika

  • 6 Teaspoons Onion Powder

  • 6 Teaspoons Garlic Powder

  • 5  Teaspoons Kosher Salt

  • 1  and 1/2 Teaspoons  Ground Cumin

  • 1 Teaspoon of Mustard Powder

When you are ready to bake up a batch of deliciously spicy and slightly tangy chicken wings, follow the directions below.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place wings in large resealable plastic ziplock bag.

  2. Sprinkle homemade buffalo chicken wings seasoning mix over wings from the mason jar. Seal the ziplock bag and shake repeatedly to coat the wings evenly.

  3. Arrange seasoned wings in single layer on foil lined cookie sheet pan or casserole baking dish.

  4. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until cooked thoroughly.
