Turn Junk Mail and Newspaper Into Free Heat

Turn junk mail and newspaper into free heat. You can make free heat and use all of that scrap paper instead of sending it to the landfill. By taking junk paper and going through a few steps you can tun it into fuel that will burn in your wood stove for a couple of hours and provide heat.

Best of all this won’t cost you anything since you are using paper that would be trashed anyway. By doing this all over the summer months you could have plenty of warm fires this winter with the fire logs you made during the summer. Mitchell Boyle shows us how to take junk mail, newspaper, sawdust  or other comparable materials and some water and turn them into fire logs similar to the fire logs you can buy. Why pay good money to buy fire logs when you can make your own with materials you already have and throw away.

You could probably use these fire logs when camping or even in your back yard fire pit. But if you have a wood burning stove you can have free heat with a little work. If you asked family and neighbors to save you their newspapers and junk mail you might be able to burn your own fire logs all winter and never spend a penny on fire wood.
