The kids will be off school for Thanksgiving and then winter break soon. This would be a neat activity for them and then they could be used to decorate for Christmas. Handimania has a tutorial on video to show how to make them. They would be inexpensive to make but would keep the kids busy while you bake all those cookies or in my case make the fudge.
