All the violets are in bloom in my area so I went looking for a recipe to use them in. I really like this one because she used honey instead of sugar and wild violets which is what I have. The jam is so pretty, seems to keep the color of the flower well and I think I like that the flowers stay in unlike violet jelly. I am going to send the grands out to pick a bunch of the flowers so I can make at least a small batch of jam from this free food. It is also an easy peasy recipe because you don’t have to can the jam, its a freezer jam.
