Alton Brown on the History of Eggnog With A Recipe

Alton Brown shared a recipe for making homemade eggnog.  Everyone at my house loves eggnog.  While this recipe is strictly for adults due to its alcohol content, you could make it without in a separate batch for younger folks or if they do not mind you could serve the store bought to them.

It needs time to  make so now would be a good time to get it started for the holidays. He gives the history of eggnog as well and his recipe sounds like it would be on a whole different level that what you buy at the store.
