Bamboo Trellis

Look at this bamboo trellis alongside a fence. This would have a very small footprint and yet you could grow many vegetables, especially if you have a long fence. You could grow green beans, cucumbers, peas and even squash and melons as long as you create a sling out of net or rags to support the fruit as it grows. Joe Loehle shares the trellis they made from bamboo and put in front of the fence. I love the way it looks and it uses space that is usually just wasted.
