Bone broth is like pure food for your joints and bones. This is a good video on how to make it. But I am going to make 1 change to Underground wellness’s recipe. I don’t use the tomato puree for 2 reasons, 1. I don’t want tomato in all my soups and 2. if you have problems with gout you should not eat veggies from the nightshade family, and tomato is one of them. The reason they use the tomato is because its acidic and the acid helps to leech the vitamins and minerals from the bones and you want to do that, its the point of making bone broth. I wait till after roasting and when I put the bones in the pot with the water I add a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, this does the leeching of the vitamin and minerals. I always make a ginormous pot of this and then freeze or can it, and use it when ever a recipe calls for beef broth. Video starts off loud.
