Big Fat Crochet Rug Tutorial

Check out this big fat crochet rug tutorial. This is perfect for a kids room, family room and for anyone with pets. I love the way it looks, it just screams homey. It looks like it would be comfy for the kids to play or lay on and if they spilled their juice it just wouldn’t matter that much. This is a rug to be lived on not looked at.

The picture is from a no longer in existence website called The Flight of the Pook.  It is made using your fingers and re-purposing old sheets to make this charming rug. I see sheets at the thrift stores all the time so a big rug like this probably wouldn’t cost a lot to make.  I love the size and all the colors in it. I have never used a crochet hook that big but I love the rug so I may actually try making one myself. This fat crochet rug that is shared by The Art Assignment is a  perfect choice for an area rug.
