Interesting article and video over on Art of manliness showing how a blacksmith makes a hook. I like to watch blacksmiths work, I think it is neat to watch them take metal and make something out of it. Someday we may need this skill and for anyone that has an interest in it this would probably be a really good bartering skill in a shtf scenario and possibly even in today’s economy. I can see a mechanic trading services for blacksmithing a sign or something.
