Build a Detachable Garden Box Vertical Growing Wall

This step by step tutorial of how to build a detachable garden box vertical growing wall is a space saving system for suburban and urban homesteaders. The amazing feature of this vertical growing wall is the french cut cleat on the back of each garden box allows the homesteader to easily remove the garden boxes and put them back anywhere on the wall.

The lumber materials list in this tutorial provides enough to make 5 planter boxes but however, the frame is able to support the weight of up to 9 wood garden boxes.

This vertical growing wall can be attached to an existing privacy fence with nails or zip ties. Using zip ties is a great option for renters who do not want to damage a fence.
