Learn how to build a kayak using the stitch and glue method. This method is pretty much just like it sounds. You cut out the pieces of your kayak and then you stitch them together with wire and finally you glues with epoxy.

He spent 6 months building his so make space in the garage and you can have it ready by spring unless you have more spare time in which case you can finish sooner. He has used his in different bodies of water and so far hasn’t had a leak. It even fell off the car once but was easily repaired.

So if you have been wanting a kayak or wanting to build a kayak these instructions will have you building your very own kayak by hand from start to finish. The one Long Toe built is 14 foot long. This would be a nice diy project to work on with a buddy of the kids.
