If you have priced speakers these days you probably already know that in order to get a really good sound you will have to spend a lot of money. However, with a little work and the right stuff, you can easily turn an old, worn suitcase into a custom portable sound system.

Tools Needed:

Coping saw

Solder iron

Wire stripper/crimper


Marking gauge

Drill and an array of drill bits

Array of screwdrivers




Wood glue

This Do It Yourself project is really easy to follow and all of the things needed are easy get a hold of. The project is presented in such a way that makes it extremely easy to follow and even has a complete plan.

It really does not require a whole lot of skill, but a little bit of experience with tools would probably be very helpful.
