Build a PVC Handheld All Surround Dog Washer Tool Project

This easy step by step tutorial of how to build a frugal PVC handheld all surround dog washer tool project that once built will rinse your dog quickly and thoroughly.

Washing the dog in the tub can be messy, but outdoors with a spray nozzle isn’t very effective either. The best way to wash your dog is with a handheld dog washer made from PVC piping. This PVC piping is adaptable and can be made into many neat projects, including a square shape that attaches to your hose, and can be used to spray your dog with water from four different sides.

PVC is a cheap material, and the T and elbow joins to make this project are affordable. The PVC is attached together to make the square shape. Holes are drilled at regular intervals, so that the water will spray into the middle portion of the washer. A female connector will allow you to attach your garden hose to the end. Having the holes pointing towards the middle will prevent the human from getting wet while washing their dog.

Many dogs will have fun running through the dog washer. If they’re hesitant, they can be trained to walk through it, or be guided on a leash. Most will adapt to it quickly.

The dog washer is a more efficient way to wash your dog. It weighs under four pounds, and is easy to hold and move around, to get your dog washed.
