Build a Sectional Homesteading Rabbit Hutch

This step by step tutorial of how to build a sectional homesteading rabbit hutch is a way to create quality housing for rabbits. Rabbits need spacious comfortable place to live that is shaded from the hot sun, blocked from wind gusts and rainy downpours. This rabbit hutch will house several rabbits easily.

You can find building materials and tools at your local home improvement store.

Material List:

16 pine 2×3’s 8 foot length

14 2×2 pine furring 8 foot length (in bundles of 4)

2 rolls of 24″x25′ welded wire 14ga

36″x10′ roll of 1/2 wire mesh cloth

2 lb of 2 1/2″ decking screws

5000 1/2″ staples

5 hinges 2 1/2″ narrow, zinc plated

5 barrel bolts 1/2″, zinc plated

2 4’x8′ sheets of 1/2″ plywood
