Build Your Own Boat

Learn how to build your own scow out of wood. There is no fiberglass or epoxy used on this boat. It is built from wood and then caulked with cotton and tubes of roof tar. Once it is built and caulked and painted it goes into the water and is left to swell. This makes it watertight. This is a boat that would need to stay in the water and be maintained. It would be suitable for calm waters. Not Just Someone walks you through the entire build on Instructables. He even provides instructions on how to make the oars.
