If you have an above ground pool or would like to put one up, check out this idea to build a pallet deck for your above ground pool. If you can get a big pile of free pallets you can build this nice deck for free. If you can’t get pallets you could still make the deck with purchased lumber. I like the way some of the boards are laid in opposite directions. It makes for a great visual design.

The deck is much nicer than just a ladder hanging on the side of the pool. With the stairs to walk up onto the deck it would be much easier to get into the pool. It also provides a place to lay in the sun or to sit and watch everyone that is in the pool. The frame work is built in outward expanding squares so it would be very sturdy. Once built you could paint or just put a waterproof sealer on the wood.

You can buy a fine sand where they sell paint to add to your paint or sealer which really helps to make the surface non slip. This looks so much nicer than just a poll in the back yard/ With a few potted plants on the deck and some flowers growing around the bottom of the deck this would look really nice.  101 Pallets shares this one.
