Runnerduck blog clearly shares through detailed directions and pictures how to build a vertical strawberry tower. By growing the strawberries off the ground it reduces chances of rot, uses less space and reduces risk of insect damage. The only thing I would add to this project is a strip of copper around the base to deter slugs.
