If you have been wanting a hanging day bed that also serves as a porch or outdoor swing with back rest this is for you. Hponce28 uses Ana White’s plans for a basic day bed and the cut the legs out of the plan and hung it on the porch. I really like this idea because as they said most hanging beds are just square and so there is no back rest.
This way it works to sit or lay on. By building a sturdy A-frame you could hang it out in the yard, it would be so nice to take a nap on it under a nice shady tree. The price to complete is stated at approx. $250.00 which is not bad to get both a swing and a hanging bed.
