It says that drinking it in water before a meal can help you lose weight by stopping your body from absorbing starches in a meal. It also says that folks that do this have lower blood glucose levels. When the acv stops the absorption of the starches it that translates to fewer calories to get into the bloodstream and this may help to lose weight. It also helps to prevent sugar spikes.
