Steve Chatterton shares a recipe for salsa verde. Salsa verde is really good on tacos or spooned over burritos. I like to use it to make green salsa enchiladas as well.
The salsa is canned in a water bath canner and is made with tomatillos which I can find in any Mexican grocery. The are small green tomatoes that have husks on them.
