Take a break from pumpkin and apple and try these cinnamon nut twists with maple drizzle. I know it is fall and apple and pumpkin recipes are in abundance right now.
And even though we love them how about a little break with these delicious twists from Tastes of Lizzyt. Instead of a cinnamon roll this one is made with two rounds of dough that sandwich a cinnamon nut center. Then you cut slices in it like a pizza pie. The slices are twisted and after baking you drizzle maple glaze over the whole thing.
Does this not sounds incredible delicious? I love cinnamon rolls and I totally love maple flavor so this combination is such a winner at my house. If you like these flavors as well and you are getting tired of pumpkin and apple this one is a great recipe that you can turn to over and over through fall and winter when there is not a lot of fresh summer fruits to make desserts with. This would be good with coffee and would make a nice presentation on a brunch spread.
The only thing I change I have made to the recipe when I make it is to double the glaze because we really like more glaze. Check out the recipe and see if your family would love these cinnamon nut twists.
