Cinnamon roll French toast breakfast bake. Take Pillsbury’s cinnamon rolls and cover them with a creamy rich French toast mix, then add pecans and maple flavored icing and we have a winner. Perfect for Sunday morning or any special day. You get the French toast eggy and cream added to the cinnamon roll flavor and topped with the maple and how could you get any better than that. Serve it with coffee and a side of bacon and we have breakfast of, well if not champions then lets say breakfast of satisfied eaters.
This recipe is from Mrs. Happy Homemaker and it is delicious. If you want to really go all out have sausage with it and keep extra maple syrup for pouring over the top. This is best when it is warm and you can make it up the night before and just bake it in the morning. It would be a nice dish for Christmas morning or a great addition to a brunch buffet.If you don’t like the pre-made cinnamon rolls that come in the tubes you could always use your own recipe and just cut them up to make this rather than baking them. Someone in the comments mentioned crumbling bacon on top and that sounds really good too.
