Once you have harvested them you can seal them in freezer bags and keep in the fridge for a few days if you are planning to use them soon or they can go into the freezer for much longer. While I have eaten frog legs and as the saying goes “tastes like chicken” at least to me it does. I can’t really see my self going out hunting for and then processing frogs for the meat. But then I would probably be vegetarian if I had to kill a cow or pig or pretty much any other meat for my self.

I know its done and I suppose if I got hungry enough but for now I like to hunt my meat in plastic wrapped packages at the grocery store. If you like to hunt and clean your own meat then Honest Food will walk you through cleaning frogs for the meat and you can add frog legs to the meal rotation. They share a link with a recipe for the frog legs as well as showing how to clean them.
