Convert Chain Link Fence to Stone Fence DIY Project

By adding expanded metal lath he was able to convert the chain link to concrete. He went on to make faux stone to make the fence beautiful. When he made the concrete door, he made the door and the posts look like wood .  This project turned out so nice. I love the look of the stone and he added lattice at the top to make it a little taller. The lattice really gives the fence a finished look.  This project is one of several that he has made out of concrete. He has a pond and benches that also look like wood or stone.

There are 3 videos. The first shows how he made the posts to carry the fence up, then adding the lath to the chain link. That is what will hold the concrete. In the second video we see how he created the stone look. In the third he is responding to trolls who commented on his work saying it would never hold up and that is couldn’t be stable. He shows just how solid it is and takes us on a tour of his backyard to show us his other concrete works. This video series is from dperry428 on youtube.
