The Skades boards are very useful for managing household items. I use skades board to oragize my tools but this time when I went back to buy more hooks, I was shocked to see the prices of Hooks jumped up…. just to darn expensive. So I started to think of any alternates for this. My brain clicked that the copper installation wires can do the trick.

* * * Materials:

Electrical domestic installation wire (2,5 mm2 solid core copper)

Nails

Thick piece of plank

1 M6 bolt

* * * Tools:

Drill press

Drill in the size of the nails and bolt

Remember, if I can make these hooks, then anyone can do. I drew the outline of the IKEA Hook on a wooden plank and put nails on the boundaries. This gave me a standard size. Now, I kept bending the wire in the given direction. You will need some string tools to bend the wire keeping in mind, not to deshape it.

Once the desired number of hooks is prepared, it is time to assemble the wooden plank. on the plank, make desired holes or you can copy the original board. Then after painting it, we can assemble the hooks on the boards. A very reasonable amount will be spent on this but a very nice and useful project can be made for our everyday use.
