The Peach Truck website shares tips and tricks two methods of preserving peaches – freezing and canning. Ripe sweet delicious peaches are in season for such a short time each year but it is can excellent time to water bath can them in mason jars and freeze them in Foodsaver bags.
The difference between using Foodsaver bags and ziplock bags and is that Foodsaver bags remove oxygen therefore avoiding freezer burn…. which just ruins a good peach, in my opinion.
