This bowtop wagon can provide you a place to stay and somewhere to sleep.  Ganeshruskin shares the instructions for building this wagon and says he has lived in it for two years. He uses an alcohol stove to heat it. The wagon is built on an 8x 4 trailer and its tunnel like shape provides 6 feet 6 inches of width at hip level which is where the length of the bed would be. The top is covered with a water proof tarp and he says that when you are parked you can remove it or roll up either side for fresh air and a view of the stars. For more privacy you can hand a blanket on each side and leave the top open to still see the stars.
The shape of this reminds be a little of the covered wagons that they used in the old days to go west. If you were building a cabin or home on a new homestead this would give you somewhere to stay while you were building. Or if you like to go camping and hunting this could also work for you. It would be a lot better than staying in a tent. The instructions for this bowtop wagon are on Instructables. Â
