DIY Desk and Bench Project

Make this diy desk and bench and save. The desk only cost 75 dollars to build and the bench probably didn’t cost that much. I love the legs of the desk. The builder says he got the inspiration from a Sicily console tables being sold at Pottery Barn and just made it into a desk.

DIY Desk and Bench

I like that it is small and more of a writing desk than my big computer desk. While I need my big desk for my job and monitor and a million other things that live on it. This diy desk is perfect for sitting at to pay bills or write a letter if anyone even does that anymore. It would be cute by the door as well to catch the mail and your keys as you came home.

The dimensions are 33 1/2 inches high by 47 1/2 inches wide by 19 1/4 inches deep. So this is a pretty nice width but it would fit pretty close to the wall and it even has small cubbies to hold books or magazines. I really like this desk and it doesn’t look like it was home made.

I instructions for building the diy desk and bench are from Rogue Engineer, he built the desk and there is a link to the bench instructions which the wife built. I love that these two both jump in there and get the job done. You don’t see that very often and it is nice to see they can both build things.
