If you like to build things and are handy at it then you may be interested in building this hidden compartment mirror. It has space inside to use it as a gun safe or for hidden storage of what you may like to keep in it. If you have children in the house I would definitely put a lock on it if you plan to keep guns in it.
I know kids, if something is hidden they will know exactly where. Having this in a part of the house where you spend a lot of your time would probably be a good option as a gun safe so that you would have closer access to it. It looks nice which is a nice bonus.
