This neat backboard that will hang on the wall and is made out of pallets is it is free and will only take a little of your time to complete. Then you can hang it on a wall out of the way of the door and other high traffic areas.
The tutorial for making this pallet backboard is from Leap of Faith Crafting. Amy tells us that to make this all you need is. All you need to make this is an old mini basketball hoop, pallet wood, saw, stain and some screws. Having a game room will let your kids stay home while the others come to your house to hang out.
When my girls were growing up, our house was where they all hung out and while they were rowdy girls I was happy knowing my girls were at home and so I didn’t mind their friends being there all the time. At least I knew all of them were safe. If you want to build a game room to try and keep your kids at home this summer check out the rest of Amy’s article for other neat projects she did while creating a game room for her kids.
