This Dutch Strawberry Pie Homemade Vintage Recipe is so increditbley simple to make and is delightfully delicious that it will become a family favorite dessert.
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 8-inch unbaked pastry shell
3/4 cup undiluted evaporated milk
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 pints fresh California strawberries (cleaned and quartered)
1. Arrange strawberries in the pastry shell.
2. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour over strawberries.
3. Bake at 400-degrees about 45 minutes.
4. Serve warm if desired.
Yield: 1 8-inch pie.
