This homemade recipe is features all of the hydrating things that goes into the skin to soften up dry skin. Get the following to mix up: 1/4 cup of Shea butter, 1/8 cup of sweet almond oil, 2 tablespoons of beeswax, and 9 drops each of lavender essential oil and cedarwood essential oil.
First, take the Shea butter, almond oil, and beeswax and melt them slowly in double boiler over very slow heat. Do not let an water get inside your melting mixture. You can use a microwave if you have no other option. It should take 30 seconds to get it all melted; remove and let it cool off for 5-10 minutes. Stir in the essential oils, then pour the mix into a container, close it tight, and let it harden overnight.
