The art of doing stuff has great article on how to do things yourself. I really like this one on how to fix your dryer. Last time I called a repair man to come fix mine he pretty much told me it would be cost comparative to just buy a new one.
Nope I am not kidding that is what he told me. So I went searching for a way to fix it and I found this article and sure enough it worked.
