Freezable No Bake Chewy Granola Bars

If you like to give your kids granola bars instead of cookies or other treats that have no actual food value make some of these no bake chewy granola bars that you can individually wrap and freeze. Then when you want to offer a snack or pack on into the lunch boxes or even offer one for breakfast if everyone is rushed, these could be eaten on the go. Just pull one out of the freezer.

Freezable No Bake Chewy Granola Bars

By the time lunch rolls around it will have thawed out and be back to its delicious chewy stage. These are no bake and while they do call for peanut butter you can replace it with your favorite replacement or a product called Wow butter that is made of Canadian Toasted Soy, it is kosher, dairy free, gluten free and vegan. These bars have a lot of great tasting ingredients  like oats, coconut oil, flax seeds, honey and rice crispies. among others. Happy Money Saver shares the recipe.

They are easy to make and since the require no baking they are done fast and can be frozen so you could double the batch and have enough in the freezer to last a good while. The recipe makes about 35 granola bars so doubled you would have loads of bars. Freezing would prevent any spoilage so you would only need to make them every 3 or 4 months depending on how much your family likes them.
