Frugal Fireman Beans and Biscuits Casserole Vintage Recipe - The Homestead Survival

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

1/2 green pepper, chopped (optional)

1 large can (21 to 28 ounces) of baked beans

1/4 cup brown sugar

3 tbsp. prepared mustard

1 12-ounce jar barbecue sauce

1 tube of prepared dough biscuits (Homemade Biscuits Recipe) https://www.bigoven.com/recipe/popeyes-biscuits/207453/amp

Directions:

1. Mix together all ingredients except biscuits.

2. Put in a large baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for an hour to an hour and a half.

3. Remove from oven.

4. Arrange the biscuits on top.

5. Return to oven for about 20 minutes more, until the biscuits are nicely browned.
