Garden Girl TV: Natural Insect Control with Diatomaceous Earth

Using diatomaceous earth for pest control in the garden is easy and organic. I use it around doorways or where ever I see ants. They won’t cross it.

The Diatomaceous Earth actually scratches bugs exoskeletons and they dry out and die. Just don’t put it on  flowers because it will kill the bees too.
Also always make sure to use food grade only.

The stuff from the pool supply has been heated and has small glass shards in it to filter the pool water. Food grade does not have the glass shards because it has not been heated. Gardengirl tv shows how to dust your garden plants. I use DE for all kinds of pest control.
