How to Grow Peanuts

Peanuts are high in protein and have fiber and vitamin E. Each plant sends out runners that will each grow a peanut at the end of it.  They have a  long growing season so starting them indoor early is recommended. Imagine growing, roasting and then making your own peanut butter.

According to this article each plant can produce 30 to 50 peanuts and you can grow them in containers if you want to. Reading the article from Gardening blog they actually sound kind of interesting to grow.
